Homeschool Mother’s Journal: October 19, 2012

In my life this week…

There has been unpacking, unpacking and yes… more unpacking!  We have officially been in our new home (from Chicago to Florence, KY) for one week today and I fear I may never be truly unpacked!  You know that feeling where you think you may live out of boxes for the rest of your life – ya, I’m there!  :)  Seriously though, it’s coming along and we will soon look as though this home has always been our home

In our homeschool this week…

Hoping to get back to school days again this coming week.  This has been a longer break than I expected so we are ALL eager to get back at it!

I am inspired by…

People who are organized!  I once was and I remember life being so much better those years.  I have been pinning away some inspiring ideas to help me move back to the old “organized” me!

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

This weekend we are heading down to Lexington to go pumpkin picking with my parents!  The girls are beyond excited and I think my parents may be also.  They haven’t been able to do this with my girls yet (since we had so many miles between us).

My favorite thing this week was…

This little girl!  Even with all the craziness of the move, going on around her, she still keeps us smiling!

I’m grateful for…

Very simple meals this week.  When you’re spending your day unpacking all you want is simple.  Well, all I want is take out but I’m settling for simple homemade meals!

I’m praying for…

My husbands new job!  We have moved a lot because of this economy and I am praying that this move was the right and final move for us.  I pray that this company is what my husband needs it to be!
