You should definitely drop some hints about the Bible. Shop around. You’ll find some very reasonable prices that are lower than the listed retail price—especially online.

Dianna, I have been diligent about eye exams because my older daughter had to start wearing glasses at two. I’ve had my younger one checked to be sure she doesn’t develop issues, and I want my older one’s eyesight to stay stable. You’re not a bad mother; I’ve just had different circumstances.

Oh! I HAVE to call our dentist next week for the kids. We take the three ‘big kids’ at the same time. They’ve actually never had an eye exam. (bad mother)
